Karen Owens

Karen has been involved in dog training for ten years and is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). She has trained dogs in search and rescue, obedience, agility and herding. Not all dog trainers are also good teachers, but Karen has expertise in both fields. She has worked as a teacher in the public school system for the last nine years and knows that teaching as well as dog training is an art form. Karen is excited and passionate about training and communicating with dogs using positive reinforcement.

Christie Crouch

Christie has had dogs all her life, starting in West Virginia with her parents and all the farm and hunting dogs.  She has been training dogs since 2003 and  both of her Shetland Sheepdogs have earned their Canine Good Citizens awards.  Her second Sheltie (Trinity) competes in AKC, NADAC, CPE, ASCA and APDT events and has earned titles in Obedience, Rally, and Agility.
